My work is done primarily with watercolors. I love the spontaneity and freedom that the medium offers. Although I love to see the water dancing on the paper, before getting to that stage, all my paintings are carefully planned. I see each one of them as a puzzle, a problem awaiting to be solved to reveal a message to be told. I like to plan the composition with a main focal point, allowing as much light as possible to shine through the paper. I paint mainly flowers, animals and landscapes – often displaying colorful skies. Nature and the Bible are a huge inspiration to my paintings. My work is simply a creative interpretation of the beauty of what has been so perfectly placed in nature for us to marvel and admire.
